Agent Feature: Mary Paige Snell
Aug 5th, 2020
If one word could be used to describe Mary Paige Snell, it would be Dynamic. She is one our top agents and has been with LG Fairmont for over 5 years. We had the pleasure of sitting down with her this week to answer a few questions.

When did you start working in real estate and what is your background?

My background is in the Arts. A number of years ago I purchased an apartment, something I never thought I would be in a position to do. I made money. I then put my mind on understanding Real Estate on a deeper level. I became a Real Estate Agent and began working at LG Fairmont in its original office 5 years ago. I have been a part of the companies development every step of the way.

How would you describe yourself in one word?

Dynamic.

What is your drive when it comes to your job? What do you love about real estate?

I am a ridiculously relentless person. I love the psychology of the real estate experience. I listen, I try to mirror back to clients where they are, who they are, and how this will define their Real Estate choices.

What was surprising to you in real estate?

How fascinating every single building in this city is. And how fulfilling it is to collect specifics of each building in my brain. I look at the city in a completely different way.

What is the definition of a New Yorker for you?

A tenacious dreamer. A person of the world.

What is it that you love about New York City?

I have lived in this city for over 40 years, coming from a small town in New Hampshire. I love the diversity of this city, I love Rick's Path in Prospect Park and Black Bean Pastries in Chinatown. I love all the secret allies and gardens, the surprising conversations, and the wonder and empathy that is the heart of this city. I live in its memories, and I embrace the future. My son is a born and bred New Yorker, his childhood and public schooling have been a completely different experience than mine, but he has loved this city, as well.

Where do you see yourself heading in the next few years with your career and what makes you hopeful/excited?

I do not believe in careers. I believe in unending curiosity in areas of interest, and in that regard, simply MORE. Surprise me with a new building to see, a unit with some potential or a unit that has been turned into a gem. May I listen and uncover the puzzle pieces of price, location, lifestyle and personality.
