BIOGRAPHY
David became a real estate agent in 2001 after a long career in the hospitality industry managing many high-profile restaurants in both New York and Chicago. Real estate was the perfect “home” for his commitment to customer service. Whether it’s working with buyers, sellers or someone looking to rent that perfect apartment, David is someone who truly loves his profession and skillfully guides his clients through the sometimes challenging process of NYC real estate.
David grew up outside Chicago and made New York City his home in 1996. “I truly believe there is the perfect apartment, no matter the price range, for everyone looking to either buy or rent in New York City.” David has extensive knowledge of the Manhattan and Brooklyn real estate markets, from brownstones to luxury new developments, from uptown to Battery Park.
David values every client, so it’s natural he makes himself available at all times to his clients and their needs. “You need an agent that will work 24/7 to navigate this highly competitive and ever-changing market.” His business acumen and extraordinary talent for negotiation complement his keen interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service.
David raised his family on the Upper West Side and currently resides in the Flatiron District. I would like to tell you about my experience with one of your associates, David Moody. I met Mr. Moody in 2012 as I wanted to locate a pied a terre in Manhattan. Although this was a dream – I actually was a neophyte as it related to the purchase of real estate in the City. In what I believe was serenpendity, I was lucky enough to meet David and we began to look at co-ops. It did not take long to find one – as David knew exactly what I was looking for and we found one quickly. He managed the whole process for me from the initial offer through the board interview and closing – making the process as painless as possible. And after the close – continued to help as I needed. When the time came to sell – David left such an impression that there was no question that I would make the call to enlist his help. Through his professionalism – he developed a sales plan and went to work. Within a week, he got a full price offer (a record for one bedrooms in my building), and within two weeks – he had developed a bidding war on my apartment. The price is indeed a record – and again David was there – making the entire process completely workable. What could have been a stressful process both in the buying and then in the selling was not – because of David’s tenacity, communication and the fact that he is just a genuinely pleasant person to work with.
